HMSA along on Trade Mission to Russia From May 31, 2010 to / including June 4, 2010 HME is organizing on behalf of the EVD from May 31 to June 4 2010 a trade mission to St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod. HMSA received in the second quarter several repeat orders from amongst others Van Oord, Eefting Engineering and Holy House Shipping.

The Dutch branch of the Swiss based Allseas Group, Allseas Engineering B.V. ordered at HMSA an Advanced Waste Water Treatment system complete with Vacuum Toilet system for installation on board of the Pipelay vessel “Lorelay”, delivery is scheduled begin of December 2009.

HMSA delivered in the second quarter also a sophisticated Reverse Osmosis Fresh Water maker with re-hardening filter and a tailor made / skid build Fresh Water Treatment unit, consisting Calorifier, Hydrophore installation, UV reactors and circulation pumps, complete with one centralized Control Cabinet.

The first quarter of 2009 has been a busy period. A major milestone in the history of Holland Marine Services Amsterdam came when we received our first order from Feadship, the world’s leading builder of customised luxury superyachts. One of the two Feadship yards in the Netherlands, Royal Van Lent, will install our advanced waste water treatment unit on one of its forthcoming motoryachts.

Further afield we received an assignment for a series of five waste water treatment units from the Zhejiang Ouhua shipyard in China, with an option for another five in the pipeline. And reinforcing the wide variety of industries using HMSA solutions, we recently delivered a waste water treatment unit to the Dutch shipping company Van Der Zwan for its giant fishing vessel SCH 54 Franziska.

2nd qrtr-2007 Eefting Engineering orders 4 ship sets consisting STP and OWS for projects in Vietnam.

2nd qrtr-2007 Acquisition efforts on the Turkish market and the Eurasia exhibition of HMSA with Turkish agent Canka resulted in ship set orders consisting STP’s, OWS’s and RO’s for 25 vessels in the last two months.

februari 2007 Was the last month of 2006 already a hit with massive orders for delivery of Sewage Treatment units, Oily Water Separators and / or Reverse Osmosis Systems from Merwede Shipyards, Seatrucks, MSC, Sanmar, Enermar Shipping and Van Oord, the start of 2007 is even more sensational with a repeat order from Spliethoff, five repeat orders from Sanmar, an order from K. Damen Shipyard, an order for eight ship sets from the Jingling Shipyard, an order for eight ship sets from the Xixiakou Shipyard, a huge order from AIG Marine Services Singapore, two orders from Emirhan Denizcilik and a very special first order from Benneti Shipyard.

The order from Benneti Shipyard concerns delivery of a Advanced Biological Waste Water Treatment system for the Luxury SuperYacht “Simon Fraser”, the ordered system is designed to handle all waste water and discharges fresh water quality conform the World Health Organisation standard.


 
  februari 2007 Based on the excellent experiences with the HMSA waste water treatment system on board of the “Toisa Proteus”, has Sealion Shipping requested Merwede Shipyard to install a similar system on board of their new Diving Support Vessel, BN 712 of the Merwede Shipyard.

The request of Sealion Shipping was the base for Merwede Shipyard orders for delivery of total 4 large Biological Sewage Treatment units complete with integrated Vacuum Toilet systems.

Ecolution will be the first ship build by the company Ecolutions BV located in Groningen/The Netherlands. It is the goal of the design of Ecolution that she will be autonomous, safe and comfortable as much as possible and easy to handle. She will be energy and resource efficient without sacrificing quality and comfort. This brings benefits, not only economic but most of all will she be less dependent on harbours for fuel and water.

The project Ecolution will awaken the interest and acceptance of the necessity of a sustainable future and stimulates the thought that we need to change our perspective of conventional use of energy in generations to come. It’s an educational example and demonstration of interest and acceptance of sustainable development on earth.

Holland Marine Services Amsterdam B.V. sign an exclusive Agency Agreement with Hong Kong L&Z International Trading Co. Ltd.
Both companies already cooperated with each other on project base up till now and HMSA has a long and solid business history with the Manager of the Wuhan office of Hong Kong L&Z .
HKL-Z is a supplier of a variety of high quality equipment for the Maritime industry and represents OEM’s from Sweden, Germany, Singapore, Korea and The Netherlands, HKL-Z has offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dalian, Wuhan and Guangzhou
 

Two senior business students from the Rotterdam School of Management, the Erasmus University are conducting a market research in Vietnam for HMSA, targets of the market research are set in close cooperation with the management of HMSA. The two students who are selected for the STAR (Study Association RSM Erasmus University) International Business Study Vietnam 2009, Anne-Mara Daams and Anne Wijnbergen just finished the first part of the project in the Netherlands and presented HMSA a preliminary report.

Friday the 3rd of July will the STAR delegation leave for Vietnam to do their field research in HCMC, Vung Tau, Hanoi and Hai Phong, during their stay in The Rising Star is a comprehensive program of meetings / interviews and official receptions scheduled. Presentation of the final report of this market research is expected at the end of September and will upon evaluation contribute to the strategic HMSA course in Vietnam.

Holland Marine Services Amsterdam B.V. expands its activities, in the North-West region of Europe; the Benelux, Germany and the Scandinavian Countries is HMSA now also Formal Agent and representative of: Peter Taboada SL, taking care of sales and service of their range of products which includes amongst others the Petsea Reverse Osmosis Water Purification system and the patented Petfrost, this system is a novelty which produces brackish or fresh germicidal water between 1.000 and 1.200 Redox.

Different kind of fish is tested and showed upon treatment that the system reduced pathogen germens and bacteria up to 90%. The Listeria is one of the bacteria tested and washing the fish with germicidal water produced by the system eliminates it up to 80%.

This project has been developed together with the institute of marine investigation that takes part in the CSIC and the CETMAR (Sea Technology Center).

Some Spanish Salmon companies have tested the system and the results have been very surprising for them, at the moment they are still using the Petfrost systems and they managed to increase the expiry date of the smoked fish substantial .
Besides using the germicidal water for cleaning fish, is the water produced by the Petfrost also very useful and suitable for cleaning all machinery and tools used in the process of the fishery products.

Ecolution
Holland Marine Services Amsterdam B.V. is the designer, producer and supplier of the smallest design Biological Sewage Treatment unit for the Ecolution.




During the reception, organized by Holland Marine Equipment in cooperation with the Dutch Consulate General at Shanghai will Holland Marine Services Amsterdam B.V. sign an exclusive Agency Agreement with Hong Kong L&Z International Trading Co. Ltd.
